Salmedina Tratamiento de Residuos Inertes SL, is a company that provides management of construction and demolition waste. It was established on 6 February 2004 and is located in the district of Villa de Vallecas, in Madrid, between the localities of Getafe and Rivas-Vaciamadrid.

Currently, the company’s partners are: Zapata S.A (www.zapata.es) and Urbaser (www.urbaser.es).

OPENING OF THE CONTROLLED LANDFILL

CONSTRUCTION OF THE TREATMENT PLANT

In February, the first truck arrived at the plant.

2005
OPENING AND START-UP OF THE TREATMENT PLANT

The opening of the treatment plant took place in July, and in December it began using mobile machinery to increase the percentage of treated waste.

2007
PLANT EXTENSION

Start of works for the future extension of the plant.

2008
START-UP OF FIXED PLANT EXTENSION

It took place in the fourth quarter of the year and significantly improved the treatment capacity of the plant.

2013
SALMEDINA TRI ACQUIRES CCR LAS MULAS

Plant located in Fuenlabrada specializing in CDW management.

2014
SALMEDINA BEGINS TRANSPORT OPERATIONS

In order to offer an integral waste management service to our customers (collection, transportation and treatment), SALMEDINA opened a new service area offering the possibility of renting skip containers for construction works.

2015
COLLECTION OF CDW BAGS

SALMEDINA acquires part of the company SACO 3 ESCOMBROS specialized in collecting waste bags and skips. SALMEDINA increases its truck fleet to better serve its customers, including the collection of CDW bags.
